PetPlate is a human-grade, fresh food, so meals must be refrigerated or frozen (no need to freeze treats).
Your containers will arrive frozen and you can allow them to defrost in the fridge or defrost them in the microwave for around 30 seconds.
Once a container is defrosted, it should be kept in the fridge and used within 5 days. You can keep up to a week's worth of food in the fridge at a time - the rest should be stored in the freezer. Refer to the best by date on the bottom of your containers.
Note: Because PetPlate is a fresh food, it should not be left out of the fridge for more than two hours. If your pup doesn't gobble it up right away, toss back in the fridge for later.
