How do I store FreshBaked?
FreshBaked is shelf-stable and should be stored in a cool, dry place - like your pantry! Each box is good for a year (check out the expiration date on the back of the box for optimal freshness).
FreshBaked arrives in a box with a bag inside - much like a cereal box, so we recommend using a chip clip to secure the bag to keep it fresh, or however you like to store dry foods!
How is FreshBaked made?
FreshBaked is made with human grade ingredients and gently baked in small batch ovens at temps you can achieve in your own home oven for increased nutrient retention.
Unlike other dry foods, FreshBaked offers a higher nutrient density than conventional extruded foods (meaning that it is not produced at high heats and pressures, so the original nutrients are preserved). In addition, we have fortified our FreshBaked recipes with superfoods and digestive aids, like prebiotics & postbiotics, to promote overall wellness.
Just like our FreshCooked entrées, we bake FreshBaked in human-grade kitchens and meet all standards and requirements set by the AAFCO and the FDA.
