Got a picky pup? Try the suggestions below. It can take anywhere from 7-14 days for your dog to fully transition to PetPlate.
- Try warming up the food (10-30 seconds in the microwave) and feeding it one spoonful at a time in the beginning.

Cut out the table scraps and treats to ensure they’re hungry at mealtime

Consider finding a quiet place for feeding time as they get used to their new food.
- Take away the bowl after 30 minutes of serving and try again later. Don’t let them train you to leave food out for them
- Adjust their entrées or switch over to a FreshCombo plan - some dogs have flavor or texture preferences. (You can see all options in your My Account page)
